PAT McNAMARA has been writing professionally for fifteen years. His influences range from the

R.E.Howard, J.R.R.Tolkien, and Joss Whedon. He has written for games, novels, comics, film and

Television. The Last Realm: Dragonscarpe marks a high point in a long collaboration with Illustrator Michal Dutkiewicz, which started in 1995 on the critically acclaimed Cogal project (The Unknown Soldier nominated in 1996 for both the Ditmar and Aurealis Awards.).

 

MICHAL DUTKIEWICZ has been described as a ‘supa-nova of an artist’. With a celebrated twenty five year career, his work as a Comic Book Illustrator and Master Pin-Up Artist has garnered him multiple awards (including three Stanley Awards). In comics he has worked on titles such as Lost in Space, Superman, Batman, Catwoman and Wolverine. His Pin-Up art has been featured in numerous Magazines and Books and two collections of his Pin-Up art have been published Internationally. Michal has gained equal critical praise for his abstract, optical, and surrealistic art. A lifelong interest in Archaeology and Natural History imbues his illustrations with a realism and believability matched by few of his Fantasy Art contemporaries.
